We all know that Asian women have the most gorgeous skin in the world. Super soft and flawless. Thanks to their traditional diets for over 50,000 years. Their homegrown secrets have kept them healthy on the inside as well as on the outside.
We all know that a basic to healthy skin is clean diet (lots of fruits and veggies), exercise, sleep and water. But here are some beauty secrets I found:
Rice Water- After cooking your jasmine rice leave the leftover of milky water. It helps to get soft skin and hair. Rice is a source of antioxidant and vitamin E. Back in the days Geishas used to take milky baths to maintain softness of their skin. You can add it to your bath or wash your skin to maintain that softness. Can also be used as a toner, just remember to store it in the fridge.
Here is a Home Made face mask:
3-4 green tea bags
2 tablespoon of honey (Honey is natural antibacterial. It will kill all the germs while feeding nutrient to the skin)
Mix the honey and the green tea leaf. Apply to dry clean face. Keep it on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water
Seaweed and Kelp- It is a traditional skin care treatment. It is natural exfoliant to remove dead skin cells. Seaweed helps in toning and cleansing the skin. Its helps your skin glow as well as it minimizes the appearance of pores. Kelp is a sea algae, it protects your skin from UV rays and pollution. It also helps with firm lines and dark circles. Ofcourse, You can make your own beautifying face mask.
What you`ll need:
Aloe Vera Gel
Seaweed
Kelp (you can get it at most local health foods stores.)
Mix together in blender. Apply to your face keep it for about 15 minutes and rinse off! And Voila! You have amazing face mask made with super beautifying ingredients.
424 method
This is simple method of rubbing oil for 4 minutes all over your face, followed by 2 minutes of foam cleanser, followed by rinsing with water for 4 minutes. Cleansing with oils before your face wash is known as double cleansing. Some Asian celebrities swear by it. Simple and easy.
So Ladies heres to living Young and Beautiful Forever! Cheers!! (of course with Green tea :))
Stay Gorgeous and Pinkabulous My Darlings!
